The BOX Furnace Hot Forming Automatic Stamping Line is specially designed for the hot stamping of automotive high-strength steel components.

It integrates full-process automation units including robotic de-stacking, laser marking, centering and alignment, multi-layer furnace loading and unloading, and press loading/unloading manipulators.

The entire line adopts the Siemens S7-1500 control system, enabling intelligent control and real-time temperature monitoring from blank de-stacking to hot part ejection.

With features of high flexibility, high precision, and high throughput, the system is widely used in the production of automotive safety components such as door impact beams, A/B pillars, and chassis structural parts.

It helps manufacturers achieve lightweight, high-strength, and cost-efficient automotive part production.

Robotic De-stacking System

Equipped with imported 6-axis articulated robots, the system flexibly separates and picks blanks from the stack and transfers them to the marking station. The end effector can be replaced manually or automatically via a quick-change coupler. Independent teach pendant control allows for automatic stack height detection and individual blank placement operations. Multiple vacuum generators control the gripping process, ensuring stable, precise, and efficient material handling.

Loading Cart System (Dual-Stack Cart)

The system adopts a dual-stack loading cart design, featuring hole-positioned pallets with scale markings on both sides for accurate manual stack setup and memory positioning. Positioning rods and mechanical separators gradually separate stacked materials, ensuring smooth operation. The carts automatically travel for stack switching and are equipped with safety gates and light curtains for full operational protection. Compatible with both box furnace and continuous furnace production lines.

After robotic de-stacking and marking, blanks are aligned on the centering platform to compensate for potential misalignment from the loading cart. 16 servo-driven beaters accurately align the blanks before feeding them into the furnace, suitable for 1-mold 4-cavity operations. This improves loading precision and speed while preventing material collision. The adjustable positioning rods allow flexible handling of various blank sizes and irregular shapes.

Dedicated Shuttle Transfer System for Box Furnace

The furnace transfer system includes two sets of manipulators, each capable of lifting, extending, rotating, and traversing. This design supports up to 11 furnace layers, allowing simultaneous feeding of cold blanks and unloading of heated blanks. The feeding manipulator picks blanks from the centering platform and loads them into the empty furnace layers through coordinated multi-axis motion. The unloading manipulator receives real-time furnace signals and quickly transfers heated blanks to the press loading manipulator, completing precise placement into the mold. The upper beam is welded from high-strength rectangular steel tubes, optimized for strength and weight balance. The material forks are made from heat-resistant alloys, ensuring minimal vibration and deformation at high temperatures. A large rotary disc structure ensures high rotational stability of the R-axis, overcoming the weaknesses of conventional cantilever designs. The dual-support structure provides excellent rigidity and damping, achieving rapid, stable material transfer. The fork surface adopts mirror-reflective thermal shielding, effectively reducing heat radiation and temperature rise on structural components.

Press Loading & Unloading Manipulator

The 3-axis servo-driven manipulator supports two working modes: transfer and feeder. By detecting the press slide position in real time, the system synchronizes the robot’s motion with the press stroke via motion control software, ensuring safe distance at all times. The X-axis employs a dual-speed structure, with a quick-change interface on the moving plate. Each mold corresponds to a dedicated gripper, allowing rapid manual changeover for different parts. Air and electrical signals are connected via aviation quick connectors. When changing the end effector, the manipulator can move entirely to the side, extending beyond the press column for easy and safe manual access.
